My approach is warm, honest, and grounded in understanding. I believe people make sense in the context of their experiences, and I work to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Together, we explore what may be contributing to the challenges you’re facing and consider realistic ways forward.
I draw from a range of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)-informed work, Directive Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches, depending on the needs of each client and family.
Prior to private practice, I spent more than 13 years working in community mental health, crisis intervention, and justice-related settings. This experience continues to shape how I approach both everyday struggles and more complex situations with confidence, curiosity, and care.
